New Year, New Do!

Happy New Year!! How is it already 2008? This past year has been a whirlwind. I almost feel like I had two separate years rolled into one. The first half of 2007- living my life in the OC, working, spending time with family and friends, lots of weddings, overall just enjoying life. Then the second half of the year, moving across the world to a new place I'd never been, where I knew no one, and starting over. If you would have asked me last January where I'd be in a years time never in a million years would I have guessed London. But here I am, enjoying ever moment, and soaking it all in!

I figured it was a new year, new life, so why not start with a new hair do. I wasn't feeling too brave but brave enough to let some strange man who barely spoke an English, drank Bailey's out of a wine glass, had crazy eyes while he used his scissors, cut my hair while it was still dry. Who cuts hair dry?? I had no idea what I had signed up for, but in the end it was pure brilliance. I loved it!

All things considered my new year's eve was pretty tame. NOT! Let's run through the night. Drinking bottle after bottle of Vueve, clearing out the dance floor to shake my thing to 50 Cent, making out with multiple boys in one night, missing the countdown, and then running home in your high heels, while it's raining and leaving all your friends behind at the club. Nice! Let's just say New Year's day was not pretty and hopefully not indicative of what's in store for me for the rest of the year. But at least I had fun :)

Here's to a great 2008 filled with hope, happiness, and love.
