Spring has Sprung.. I Hope!

I need to officially mark the first warm day of weather I've encountered here in London since I arrived last August. Warm as in really warm, 70! I couldn't wear a single thing in my closet so I had to dig into my bags of summer clothes which are inside my storage cabinets to find a short sleeve shirt. When I stepped outside my door if I had closed my eyes I could have sworn I was back in Corona del Mar. It was the best feeling. I literally felt the sun on my hair, on my skin. The city looked so different and I've never seen so many people out about. People were wearing shorts, tank tops, flip flops. Ahh open toed shoes, I had to dust those babies off too. I didn't know what to do with myself. I was practically skipping down the streets, I just felt so happy. I'm praying it stays this way at least for a week and it's not just a fluke. Amazing how the weather has so much power of me now. Part of living here, I guess!
