Thursday Thoughts...

This is a bit of a unique post so bare with me as I ramble on a few random topics that have been rolling around in my head over the last few days.

I can't believe how much I talk about the weather now and how much my life revolves around it ,but it does. Today was the warmest day of the year so far. A whooping 61 degrees!!! I was practically smitten.. it's the first day since I've arrived here I didn't have to wear a jacket. At some point over the last eight months my body and brain has adjusted to my new climate and registered 60 degrees as being what I now consider warm. I shudder to think what i do if it got to 70?? Probably melt onto the sidewalk.

Not sure if I've mentioned this to any of you but I've started working with a trainer at a gym I joined near my house. His name is Anthony and he's absolutely adorable, accent and all. My favorite part of the workout is when he says, and I quote, "Mita stick out your bum". It always makes me giggle, turn red, and then develop a bigger crush on him than I already have. Tracee, if you're reading this, he's no Jesse but he's pretty easy on the eyes.

I've finally decided to take the leap and try online dating. I was getting nowhere meeting men and starting to become really frustrated. For the life of me I can't understand why it's so hard to meet someone. Sometimes I feel like I must have a sign on my forehead that says stay away. I'm happy to report the online experiment has been quite successful. I am currently talking to four guys and I have a date tomorrow night and another date next Saturday. I promise to share all the juicy details with you guys after the dates have taken place. Fingers crossed they both go well!

Last random thought.. although I've raved about the shopping here in London the one thing this city has not been able to supply me with, is my Banana Republic fix. That is no longer the case. They opened their first European store in London last week and it's conveniently located right around the corner from my ad agency offices in London. I plan on visiting the store today but something tells me once I see the prices I may end up walking out empty handed. I don't think I will be able to justify buying something at double the price, when I know I can get either go online or wait till go I back home and buy the same things for half the price. But who knows, I may give in to temptation.

And that concludes today's session of Thursday's thoughts!

You CAN however, traipse through the store and then tell me what you want and I will buy it in the US for you!

Miss you! Love,T
